About the Blogger

IMG_0069Christian, aviatrix, writer, photographer, airport bum, and more. It’s hard to pick just a few words to describe me and my life. I’d probably add aviation/airport planner, life-long learner, and runner to that list too.

My passions are everything aviation, traveling, and of course, the love of my life, Luke.IMG_0131I’ve had a lot of unique opportunities in aviation and my latest adventure is working as an airport planner for a consulting and engineering firm. My job still gets me to airports and my passion for aviation is fueled by solving problems airports face today.

In my free time I run, read, and am working towards a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Sciences (GIS). I enjoy keeping up with the aviation industry and plan to be back working towards my Instrument Rating in summer 2019.

My goal with this blog is to catch the eyes of all types of aviation enthusiasts and, hopefully, those outside of aviation. Hopefully my research and writing pulls you into a innovative and constantly changing industry and you learn something along the way.

Blue skies & tailwinds!

  1. Good morning! I just found your blog and look forward to reading your writings and I’ll start from the beginning. I love all things aviation and am thrilled to find women who ardently pursue it. I have 40 hrs of private pilot training but life got into the way. Have no idea when I’ll be able to resume, hopefully in the not too distant future. Meanwhile, I’ll enjoy your adventures. God bless and soar high! Lark Logan, Winthrop, MA
